Review of TurboTax Premier - CD or Download 2011Cons:- Had trouble finding how to import
"The import should also be in the charitable deductions page, instead it is on the summary page above the deductions. I'm sure I will have trouble again next year in finding how to get to It's Deductible and in importing it. This needs to be improved so that you can easily get to It's Deductible from anywhere on charitable donations."

Cons:- State filing is way too expensive
"I was surprised by how expensive retrieval of state forms and submission is. You would think that for $48 retrieval fee that would include the submittal fee. I may find a different way to do this next year."

Cons:- software is confusing if you know how to do your own taxes
"Software made mistakes, asked inadequate & wrong questions for my tax situation. I've used Turbo-tax for several years. Every year it has been getting more and more difficult to file & make sure Turbo-tax has gotten it correct. But, after this year's experience, I'll never use Turbo tax again. I'll be doing my own from the forms available at the library. It will easier, & take less time."

IT WOULD HAVE GONE FASTER AND BEEN EASIER HAD THERE BEEN LESS RAH RAH AND SELF-CONGRATULATORY VERBIAGE ON ALMOST EVERY SCREEN. THE ENTIRE PROCESS WOULD BENEFIT FROM EDITING TO MAKE IT EASIER TO PLOW THRU WITHOUT HAVING TO READ REPEATEDLY HOW WE WILL SAVE EVERY POSSIBLE PENNY IN TAXES. SOLICITNG THESE USER REVIEWS IS A GOOD FIRST STEP." -
