Hidden Fees
Review of TurboTax Online Deluxe 2009Pros:- Very easy user interface
Cons:- Fees not fully disclosed until the very end
"I really like turbo tax; it is easy and really does find deductions that can offset some taxes. My one qualm is the efile servicee fee of $30 dollars. I wouldn't have had a problem had it been disclosed earlier so I may have the opportunity to shop around a little more without having my personal info on a couple sites. again overall a solid product, just be aware that everyone wants a piece of your money."

Cons:- Hidden fees
"The promotional e-mail said file federal at not cost, but there would be fees for state filing. There were fees for both Federal and State, plus a "refund processing fee." All in all I paid $99 to do my own taxes. That seems a bit high. Turbo tax needs to be more clear on the costs."

Cons:- Didn't understand all the 'lingo" all the time
"The program found deductions that I didn't know about. We have family who are certified accountants and used to do our returns, but we decided to try Turbo Tax this year, and there were deductions they had never even told us about. Our refund is much larger than it has ever been!"
