"I do love working with Turbo Tax. Everything you can think of is right there for you - they ask - you answer. I chose the "select my own" rather than have TT "walk me thru" this year, but it still took about the same amount of time."
"It was difficult to delete 1099s and other forms that I no longer needed. I would delete them while completing the step and then the error check would state that the entry on the form was incorrect, so I went back to delete again, it passed the error test, however, when I went to e-file it checked again and said it needed to be fixed. i went back and fixed it again (deleted it), and then they were finally gone.
On the Wisconsin form, I did not have to enter a single change to the form, however, the error check indicated that a Zero was entered incorrectly on the Wisconsin form and I had to fix it by changing the information on my federal form. It gave me know idea where on the fed form I could find the information to change. I had no idea how to proceed! After seeing the error for 5 or 6 times and it not allowing me to e-file, I finally entered the space bar in the error box, and ran the error check one more time, and this time it allowed the entire fed and state to efile.
It took 4 hours AFTER I HAD RUN ALL ERROR CHECKS SHOWING NO PROBLEMS, for me to complete the efile process.
If a human reads this review, I would appreciate knowing why these things happened, and why I should continue to use TurboTax software?"
"The Turbo team is obviously working to improve it's product. This year was the first that I got through the whole thing whole process on my first try, without having to back up and redo it. It's still a bit slow navigating within the various sections, expecially the income portion. I especially like the way information from the previous year is re-entered into the new tax return. I'll be back in 2010!"
