Cons:- none
"I've used Turbo Tax for years; now that I've retired, my tax needs are quite different. Turbo Tax really helped the first year I had both earned and retirement income. Going from W-2's to 1099's and annuities would have been painful if I'd had to do it on paper. A very comprehensive piece of software; it's fast and crashproof ( at least on my Mac ).
Well done, TT; I'll be a buyer for life." -

Cons:- Difficult to file state by mail
"I love Turbo Tax. It makes doing taxes easy. This year, though, it was tricky to figure out how to file State taxes by mail. Turbo tax kept directing me to e-file my state taxes. I didn't want to pay the extra $20 to do that. But I had to select to file all my taxes by mail in order to just get to a page that would allow me to print out the state forms. I hope Turbo Tax fixes this for next year and gives the explicit option right at the front of the filing section for me to file my state taxes, and only state taxes, by mail."

Cons:- Major software glitch in making payment for e filing
"Would not use again based on major glitch for making payment to credit card before allowing to e-file. Even with many reports of this problem, the folks at Turbo Tax have chosen not to fix the problem. The problem is that the required field for entering one's zip code is hidden behind a privacy field. You've lost my business. Too big of a hassle to deal with especially when the company does not make an software fix."

Cons:- For early users sit through frequent upgrades
"As a longtime user of TurboTax I have seen a continuous improvement of the use-ability of the program. I am not a pro but with the use of TurboTax I have found all the deduction possible, specifically in the area of credits for prior year minimum Tax (form 8801) saving me over $50000 this year alone.
Don't do your tax manuall. Always use TurboTax." -

Cons:- printing state
"I have used turbo tax for a bunch of years. This year all went well with 2 exceptions.I Used a mac computer for the first time. I was asked to relaunch my turbo tax program a number of times. I had too many entries in box 14 so I had to print my state taxes. It was a lot of trouble finding a method to print the state. I think all of us , who do their own taxes, when done are ready to get it over with. You should have a option to print or efile the state when the federal forms have been efiled as a readily available distinct ,no searching, no logging onto community, option.

"been using for 5 years, never had a problem. Each year taxes become more complex and yet turbo tax makes it easy and quick.
One suggestion, make the turbo tax cd holder in the box capable to hold two disks, the original and the back up once taxes are =complete. All in one small and handy box!" -
