"I have used Turbotax for many years and find it thorough and relatively easy to use.
Some years back, as you answered questions the related form appeared as it is filled out. While improvements have been made, it would be useful to resurrect this feature."

"I had to purchase an additional product to get information that I think should have been available in the Deluxe edition. I think this is a way to suck people in and you have no choice but to purchase the additional product so you can complete you return. I had a question about refinancing and it was not available unless I purchased time to speak with an expert. I felt I should have paid and accountant. I had not had this difficulty two years ago. It appears you are adding more charges just like the airlines."
"This year's version took way too long to start the application each time you started. Due to the time to get started you needed to devote a substantial amount of time for each session.
More importantly, it took way too long to switch between the forms view and the step-by-step process - and this was with a high-end power computer. The time required to switch between modes prevented the user from checking certain items on the form to see how the Interview process placed the time into the forms. This definitely needs to be fixed for next year's software."

"Both wife and I are retired but she has done a few days work for her old company. They sent her a 1099 Misc. for the money she had made. When I entered this the program automatically assumed she had her own company and generated the forms. This seemed a bit much but filed them anyway. This was the only thing that we had a problem with and we have been using Turbo Tax for about 8 or 10 years."
