"You have to fill it out. Very complicated. You would think that the information would carry over correctly but when you run the error check you have to go back and manually enter at least 10 entries. I would not recommend this product."

"If you are a complete novice and know nothing about trusts and/or handling taxes, then you will still be a bit confused with this program especially where choice have to be made--i.e., filing elections, how to distribute to beneficiaries, etc. Some of the confusion is not the fault of the program and more the fault of not knowing how trusts work and that is where more help would be useful, although the live community does add something here."

"A great program. I used the 1065 and the 1041 returns. I am confident that I got the deductions I should, and didn't miss reporting the Income I should which is important to me.
The "hard to get around" might just be me."

This necessitated keeping two sets of books- one for the PC for Business and one on the Mac for personal. Please see if you can do TurboTax Business for a Mac."

"I think this was the smoothest year yet. I have been using Turbo tax business for 5 years now. This year's product was much smoother. I also use quickbooks premier and the combination of importing from the previous year's turbo tax and importing from quickbooks didn't work the first time around. I had to start over with a new tax file and re do the imports. Once that was completed it tied out nicely and was ready to submit."

"I've been using TurboTax (both the Personal and Business editions) for years. The primary reason I use it is the Interview process it uses. It presents the tax questions in a way that I can understand, and when I want more information, I can get it with a click of a button.
I was very disappointed this year when I tried to Import my Quickbooks information. I tried for hours to no avail. From the message boards, it appears that I wasn't the only one who had trouble.
I also found that when I manually did the import by assigning items to Tax Lines, TurboTax would lose information when I tried to expand the column of the description field so that I could see what line item I was working on. This added more hours to the process because I had to re-enter information several times. This is a bug that needs to be fixed."

"If you are considering filing your corporation tax return, why would you even consider something other than Turbo Tax? The program is clearly written, takes you by the hand and leads you through the tangled tax code in a seamless and thorough journey. I have been a loyal Turbo Tax user for many or most of their products, for many years. Every year they top themselves in making the process of completing tax returns easy and almost fun! This is true for their Corporate package and for their Turbo Tax Deluxe package for personal tax returns. I'll be back again next year!"

"Make sure you double-check everything. On my return, TT entered insurance expense as a negative expense. It also erroneously disallowed the deduction for the health insurance premiums. Hadn't I checked, TT would have shown more than $8,000 too much in income - wow!"

"The tax program works well but with some issues. I bought a Mac computer which I love. However, TurboTax Business for corporations is not written to run on a Mac. They should write this for Mac. Intuit has a Quickbooks for Mac which runs well. However, when I tried to get Quickbooks files from the Mac version into my TurboTax for Windows it could not be done"

Cons: Cost of goods sold does not integrate with Quickbooks
"I really like using this product. it allows me to be able to do my own taxes and keeps everything balanced. I wish i could see the actual tax return better during the process. Also, Cost of goods sold does not import correctly from Quickbooks. I don't know if this is a problem with Quickbooks or with T.T. Quickbooks already calculates COGS and it is this amount that is imported to the tax form of the balance sheet under "purchases." This problem cost me a lot of time trying to balance my books before i figured it out."
