"I have always been terrified of taxes! My daughter suggested that I try this, and it's the best suggestions she ever made! It was very easy, and I was finished in less than 2 hours (could have been sooner, but I was very cautious). It also gave me excellent ideas about itemizing deductions for next year - am going to keep track of every penny!"

"It would be helpful to have a regular calculator available in the program. Also, we are amortizing points for our mortgage. It would be helpful if the instructions would tell us to put in the total points paid at settlement. I was confused at first and put in the annual amortization amount.
For charitable contributions, list church contributions as an example."

"We weren't sure if we needed Deluxe or Premier this year, because we own (but had not sold) stock. Since the premier version was sold out, we just got deluxe. It was all we needed.
One of the very best features of Turbo Tax is that if you use it year to year, it transfers all the previous year's info into this year's return. All our regular charities are listed. All our financial info is there...just so easy, and so much less busywork!
All year long I throw anything tax-related into one file - property tax info, misc charitable donations, etc. Then come tax time, it's all there, and we fill in a few blanks here and there...and Turbo Tax does the rest. E-filing was a breeze, and now we can just sit back and enjoy April 15."

"Turbo Tax seems to get better and therefore become more user friendly every year. Even if you were going to have someone else do your taxes, the steps would make sure you have collected all your information.
The electronic filing feature is very easy and convenient.
A future enhancement that would be beneficial would be to allow filers to store their files elsewhere (not on home computer) for next year's import. Home computers are replaced over the years and files are not always easily accessed."
