Pros: Easy steps thru the return
Cons: Quite often the "saving data" script failed to terminate. I had to hit escape and restart the session. I use FireFox 3.8
"Turbo Tax On-Line is a very good tax prep program that is easy to use with simple instructions easy to implement. I have used it for several years and will continue to do so."

"This software is very easy to use and to understand. The help questions are appropriate to the page you are on, and they are topic specific, with examples and situations that are right on. My only complaints are that the software carries over investment titles from last year that I no longer have, and the automatic download from my financial institution did not include my average cost basis and length of time held."

"This is friendly until view and print. I'm still not sure if
my taxes are filed, it took my money and showed sent but I still can not and don't have a print out of my taxes.
I have spend MUCH time on the view and print with no results. I have Abode and also installed the other recommended. I probably will not use this again.
I am disappointed especially since it was recommended by my bank."

"This is the main problem I had: last year I had 2 daycare providers. This year I only used one of them. Inputting the amount paid to them this year, instead of deleting the second provider, I just entered zero for the amount paid them. Well, this was considered an "error" which would not allow me to e-file until I fixed it. I went back and couldn't find any way to either delete the 2nd provider from the form or to edit or re-do the whole section. I finally had to delete my son and re-input the info entirely. There also doesn't seem to be any "help" section, which almost all other software programs seem to have."

"I found difficulty going back to see what I put in and where. I had no idea what I nned to put in "auto reg. required" I lost a lot of time trying to figure out what things meant because I couldn't go to the form to figure it out."

"Very easy, just follow the screens step by step. You can't really mess this up, just fill in what it asks and your done. Sometimes it wants to know stuff I really don't have any idea about, but I generally just go with it's recommendation and it works out. I don't care because it is easy and fairly fast. It took me about 2 hours to do my taxes. I can live with that."

"Turbo Tax makes it easy to track from year to year. They explain everything step by step, but still managed to walk me through filing my taxes in less than half an hour. This includes deductions, stock dividends and home owner as well as other deductions. Even dealt with Katrina survivor deductions."

Pros: User friendly
"I had a CPA review my return since we had disability settlement income. My CPA's tax software did not include anything for this type income. Since my CPA would have to manually do the forms, he recommended I just file it with Turbo Tax. I was very impressed with Turbo Tax being up to date on this. Congratulations!"
