"I didn't need the child day care information to file for 2008 because my child was over the age limit. The problem was that turbo tax wouldn't delete the 2441 form until I removed the child completely from my taxes went through my personal info and then had to add her back on again. Just hitting the "No" button when asked, "did you pay someone to care for you child for you to work?" I tried repeatedly. Was frustrating and took me over an hour to figure out how to get it to process."

"We have been using Turbo Tax for many years now--at least six if I'm not mistaken. It has been a Godsend when we are trying to get everything together. It is also neat to see the "Refund Counter" go up when we put in some of our entries. The higher it goes, the more likely we get to go to Disney this year!"

"I've been using TurboTax for years, but the past couple years have been very challenging. This year was the worst and I am very disappointed with the product. It was nearly impossible to go back and edit forms that were already done. Forms were added that were unnecessary and in which no data was entered. I won't use this product again."

"In 2000/2001 TurboTax used to take me about 3-4 hours to complete my taxes. Now it takes me about 12 hours yet the only thing that has changed with my taxes is my married status. TurboTax used to be intuitive and easy to use and it would clearly communicate what was happening.
Today there are problems - screen locked so I had to switch from Safari to Firefox. On some 'errors', no matter how many times you correct the 'error' it won't save the change you made and so keeps alerting the same 'error' until you bypass it.
My wife and I are seriously considering switching to paper-based next year, as we believe we would be able to do taxes in less time than using TurboTax."

"I was very pleased with TurboTax this year as I had some special situations regarding my income and taxes for this year's return. Turbo Tax did all of the calculations with a few simple strokes and completed my return easily. I will continue to use TurboTax and definitely recommend it to friends and family."
