"Overall stiil a great product and easy to use. The interview sequence is very easy to follow. The only thing that I didn't like was when you wanted to coreect an entry you have to go back to a topic area anr repeat a lot of steps."

Pros: The program guides one through the process well.
Cons: if you make an error and finish the return, it is not possible to revise the error without starting over.

"All information and data should be checked and ready to input into the program before completing the return. If an error is made and the return is printed, you cannot go back and revise the eror without starting over. If the return is e filed before the error is found, an amended return must be done to correct the error. There should be a way of correcting errors after printing a copy."

"Program can be difficult to use when you want to make something happen (in this case a simple amended return). I spent 45 minutes trying to add a deduction to my already submitted taxes, and could not get TTto work properly. I'll just submit be hand..."

"Turbo Tax is so easy. All you have to do is gather and organize your paperwork and TurboTax takes you through the whole process in about 2 hours - or less! Their categories are easy to understand and they have pop-up explanations available if you're not familiar with the tax categories."

"We have used TurboTax for the past 4 years. The first year I was married, I did our taxes using TurboTax and my husband used his trusty pencil and paper. "Program was easy to follow, and captured the information from the W2. However, when we reviewed the preview, it gives the option to print. It should alert you that you will be able to print the final return later. We didn't realize we could print it later, and printed the preview which had "Do Not File" stamped across it. We then had to print the original for our records. The program doesn't list the paycheck deduction in box 14, so we added that to our charitable contributions, but when we previewed the return, it was duplicated on the Charitable Contributions Summary which then needed to be corrected before submitting."
