"I have used Turbo Tax for years and love it. This was the first year that I have ever encountered a problem. I use Norton Antivirus and ran into some serious issues. I ended up uninstalling Norton and running Turbo Tax with out it. It was very frustrating and time consuming, but I will use Turbo Tax again next year. No other tax software measures up."

"I LIKE TURBO TAX, I HAVE USED IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND COULD NOT DO WITHOUT IT. IT IS VERY COMPLETE AND COVERS ALL TOPICS. I THINK THAT A SECTION ON PREPARATION BEFORE USINGTHE SOFTWARE COULD BE HELPFUL. USING INFORMATION MORE THAN ONCE COULD BE MARKED ON THE SOFTWARE."

"The only problem I had with turbotax was to get extra information on 3rd party sickpay. I got 6 different answers from that many people. Your answers should come from one person and be reliable. other than that the software is awesome!"

"This was a major overhaul for Turbo Tax. It seemed more friendly and easier to use, but was confusing as to what you had already opened and worked on in an area...should have some designation as to "processed" and then "edit" or "review" or some such. Also didn't see anything at the end about estimated taxes next year, which should be an automatic thing one is directed to."

"I hate doing taxes and except for the past two years have always paid an accountant to do them. For 2007 and 2008 I have confidently used TurboTax Home and Business (I have an on-line book selling busness). It has worked wonderfully. My only complaint is that some items that I am not familiar with could use more explanation, but with the online help I figured them out. I would highly recommend this for people afraid to do their own taxes."

"a couple filing joint, the software should say something right from the first entry screen, that the spouses info that is not the primary on the form will be entered after the primary has entered the info. like: Let fill out both of your information. We'll start with X, then when that is complete, we 'll enter Y's info."

"Can someone add a "print screen" functionality? It would be very nice to print individual pages when working....
Like the summary page that shows what was keyed and what was allowed. Or when the efile said the form was accepted. It is frustating to hit "print" and only the whole form is the option.
However, we've used Turbo tax for years now. It has always done the job for us.

"There were areas I felt were very confusing and not explained well enough. I cannot remember all the areas, but one was on the Wisconsin state forms which stated something about "if the net taxable amount on the federal was a negative amount, enter a positive amount here," or vice versa. I had NO idea what that meant. My suggestion would be to please add more explanations. Otherwise, I find TurboTax a great product!"
