Pros: I like the idea of having people (both web and live) that can be contacted with questions I have.
Cons: this year there were several glitches. I spent a lot of extra time!!

"I have used Turbotax for several years and love the way it transfers info from year to year. This year some areas seemed much more complicated and I was using my "phone a friends" more than usual.
Did figure everything out eventually.
I would like it if the program beamed us back to the area of the interview we were looking at on the tax forms.

"I have filed my taxes with Turbo Tax for the last five years. Those five years have shown me how far our tax filing knowledge has come over the years. Today my most time consuming operation was getting the documents together that was to provide the information I need to complete my tax form. Once that was done completing my taxes was fast and simple. Keep up the good work Intuit."

"A real plus for a first time preperation of tax returns. It really is helpful to have input data from Quicken. This software helps fill the gaps so you don't have to search through a lot of paper files.
The down side, is the updating each time you open TuboTax, it makes you want to wait until April 14th to file your taxes."

Cons: when transversing already completed forms, not clear which decisions had been previously made
"Some products are updated and interfaces changed but not improved (e.g., Office 2007), this not the case with TurboTax. The latest version has changes but these are, in the worst case, neutral and in the best case much improved over previous versions."

"I found Turbo Tax to be easy to download to the computer. It works very well with Quicken 2009 Deluxe to import tax information and save time. It seems to cover all bases and gave me some great advice for preparing for the coming year. I have used Turbo Tax for years and would recommend it to anyone desiring to do their own taxes."

"I took the suggestion, as it was stated in my best interest, to upgrade. Since I don't have many investments on my own and most are down thru my brokeage firms the only thing that was different was I sold one portion of one of my stocks, which I could have done with the Deluxe package and it would have come out the same."

"This is the fifth year in a row to use TurboTax. I particularly like having the previous years personal and tax information stored and then utilized in this next return. The format is excellent and prompts gathering the new information in an organized way. This year I had more involved capital gains/losses, and the help with gathering cost basis was extremely helpful. I will definitely be using TurboTax in the upcoming years."

"After using several accountants for many years, TurboTax was even better. It asked more questions than any of our accountants. Believe it or not it seemed more personal! My sister and cousin recommended using TurboTax and it was the best advice I received in a long time. I will definitely use it next year and will recommend it to my friends and relatives."
