Pros: I use turbo tax every year. Convenient
Cons: Hard to figure out where to find input spot
"I wish there was a way to find out where to go in Turbo when you want to do or change some data. For example, you discover a 1099-b that you forgot to enter. Where do you go in the program? Needs a search box to type in 1099-B, or Use of House as business or car depreciation (or whatever). It's very time consuming to dig around looking for the right spot."

"Biggest problem was screen freeze with TurboTax OnLine on a Mac using Safari browser. Had to clear Safari cache and Quit Safari app; then once Safari app was restarted, it was good to go. All that to clear up some "known" flash player problem."

"My husband has a small business & we would probably have to hire an accountant to do our taxes for us if it weren't for Turbo Tax. It's great for returns that are more complicated than just adding up W-2's and taking standard deductions. It has also helped us to analyze the benefits of contributing to IRA accounts. If you use it from year to year (like we do), it automatically imports last year's information into the current return. It also lets you save your return (and all of the back-up forms that don't get filed) electronically for future reference/printing."

"I wasn't sure if I wanted to try and file my own taxes, Since Iam a self emplyed contractor. In the past I had paid someone to do my taxes. This year I decdeed to try turbotax and I was definitly Surprised,any questions I had were answered while filling out the forms , and I believe my deductions were better than last year. I will be using turbotax from now on."

"This product gets better every year! I have been using it since we started a small business in 1999 and I couldn't have done our taxes without it. I especially like the meter-like calculator at the top that shows how much we owe or will get as a refund; it gives a real-time summary of the return so I know if I need to look for more deductions, etc. My only quibble this time was that when I accidentally started a category (e.g. a stock sale) and changed my mind later I couldn't figure out how to delete it. Then during the review process I had to put in zeroes."
