Cons: Gotta know how to type or get help from someone who does!

Cons: Can be tricky if you're not computer-literate

"Surprisingly the hardest part was executing the e-file. Didn't get an error message about the PINs (you need two if filing jointly) and AGI. Other than that I went through it in less than a hour, including two W-2s, a self-employment filing, and rental property. I'm not going to say it was 'pleasurable', but I do feel good about the results."

"I was very frustrated this year with the Business/Personal product. The totals that were coming up when I did my Asset Depreciation did not match what I was inputting and there was NO WAY to find out why! Also, the Vehicle section was VERY confusing as to what exactly were the mileage numbers to be entered. It took several tries with the review saying there was errors, but not saying why, only where it was. And of course, there is NO ONE to talk to without spending money just to find out what should be obvious. Asking the community is a shot in the dark and you never know when you will get an answer.
If the program is combining portions of different sections to produce a result (as is apparently the case when you buy a new vehicle and trade one in. I guess it takes the new vehicle depreciation and tacks it on to the Asset Depreciation section.....but it NEVER tells you it is doing this and you end up chasing ghosts, trying to figure out where the extra thousands of dollars came from when you know you did not enter it yourself in the Asset Deprec Section.
I probably wasted 5 hours redoing sections I would not have to had the program given me sufficient information to know what was going on."

"Most of my problems were operator error. Had one issue this year where it demanded a Schedule E that I didn't need. I had to work 5 hours to find the fix. Fixed my 2040, problem went away."
