"It is so easy to use and great for those that don't understand all these tax forms and need a nice simple way to answer all the required questions in layman's terms! If I had to fill out all the required information for my home business without TurboTax, I am sure I would have been completely lost and messed up half of my Schedule C. I would recommend TurboTax to ANYONE, seasoned tax veteran or first time filer!"

"TT needs to come to a place where the user can hop from place to place while preparing or reviewing their return. In 2008, it still took to long...5-10 seconds. A similar problem of manueverability occurs when you attempt to return to the place from which you just hopped from...it takes too long...like loading a long web page. I would say it adds 10-20% additional time to return preparation & review process. I've used TT for at least 7 years."

"Overall, I found TT to be a good purchase. Only two instances caused me to become frustrated. Under Business Taxes, the check box for "Did you dispose of any personal property..." would not stay unchecked although I did not check it. Also, when efiling, I kept getting an error when using my AIG (which was correct) as my PIN. After filling in all boxes with the same number and then using this years PIN, it finally filed."

"My situation is that I have a rental property in Mexico I own it with 9 other people including my wife. We have a LLC. The only paper work I had was a K-1. I did not learn how to enter this information on my return until I had used the community tool. After doing that I found the information I entered under form C was not needed. And I then deleted all the Business forms as they were not called for."

"The product is easy to use & fill in. It covers most issues. The only problem I had was trying to correct an error it said was there. According to my 1099 the amount I entered was correct but I couldn't efile w/ that amt. in the box. I was very disappointed it wouldn't accept the correct amt."

"Own my own small business but don't make tons of money so I use Turbo Tax to prepare my own "schedule C" and personal taxes together. It's easy, step-by-step instructions, error checking, and layman's explanations of all of the different items really helps me get my taxes done quickly, correctly, and professionally-without paying the professional sized fees. I've used Turbo Tax since I started my business in 2004 and wouldn't even think of switching to a different program-it's just not worth it for me."

"This was the first time I used TurboTax, and I am fairly certain I will use it again next year. It is a very easy tool to use, and I really like the degree of detail it gets into in determining tax liability. I also like see the real-time meter of how much you owe or how much you are getting back.
With that said, if I could change anything, it would be to eliminate ambiguity in some of the questions it asks. For example, if you are married, filing jointly, Turbo Tax should be referring to both of us versus one of us. I am self employed, and my wife works for a company--so this can be confusing as we have different things we need to respond to.
Also, we were a bit confused with the section on describing the taxes paid in 2008 for 2007 tax year. Am I supposed to describe ANY taxes I paid in 2008 for 2007 (e.g., estimated taxes due on 1/15/09 for 4th quarter 2008)? We found this to be a bit confusing as well.
However, all-in-all, we are very happy with the software, and certainly recommend it."
